Catastrophe averted from petrol leaks in UP hospital's parking
Lucknow, Oct 3 A major tragedy was averted in the state capital here when massive leakage of fuel from several vehicles was discovered in time at a parking lot in a city hospital, the city police said on Monday.

The accident was prevented at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Government Hospital when an attendant of a patient smelt an overpowering odour of petrol on Sunday night.
The police rushed to the spot and got the area cleared of vehicles where they found that the fuel pipes had been pulled out from the vehicles. The police considered it to be a deliberate act.
Officials fear this could be the handiwork of some subversive elements or somebody wanted to trigger an explosion.
