Cat Exams- No painted hands and shoes at exam hall warns IIM-B
The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has issued strict guidelines to those students appearing for the CAT examinations on Sunday.
Bengaluru, Dec 3 The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has issued strict guidelines to those students appearing for the CAT examinations on Sunday. No painted hands, shoes or health bands says the list of instructions issued by the IIM-Bangalore which is the organising IIM.

The guidlines clearly state that mehndi, henna or any other cosmetic colour on the hands is strictly prohibited. These guidelines have been issued since it would not be possible to digitally scan fingerprints. The gudelines state that any sort of colour on the hands should be avoided. Avoid applying colour at least five days before the test,the guidelines state.
Further there is also a bar on wearing shoes. Closed footwear and socks are prohibited and will have to be left out of the examination hall, the guidelines state. There is also a bar on wearing health bands into the examination hall. Those found violating the guidelines will not be allowed to take the examinations.
