CAT 2017: Exams on November 26, registrations begin August 9
Candidates can't switch to another section while solving a particular section.
The IIM Lucknow will conduct the CAT 2017 from November 26 onwards and registration for the same will begin from August 9. This year the exam will be held in two sessions.

The registrations would begin on August 9 and the window for the same would be open till September 20. This year, duration of the exam will be of three hours, according to reports. There will be three sections - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. Candidates will get exactly 60 minutes to solve each section. However there is a catch.
Candidates can't switch to another section while solving a particular section. Some of the questions may not be MCQs, according to reports.
CAT 2017 will be held across 140 cities and candidates will have the option of selecting four, in order of preference. Registration can be done online via credit or debit cards and net banking. Admit cards can be downloaded post October 1 8.
