Case against teacher for asking boy to clean faecal matter
Namakkal (TN), Nov 13: Police have registered a case against a primary school teacher, who allegedly asked a Scheduled Caste student to clean faecal matter with his hands.
The boy, a second standard student, was reportedly asked by the teacher in class yesterday to clean up the faecal matter passed by another boy with his hands.

He refused to go to school today and told his parents about the incident, following which they complained to Revenue Divisional Officer and police. Police said a case has been registered against the teacher under Section 310 of the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Act.
