Cab driver found dead in parked car in Tamil Nadu

Coimbatore, March 7: A 50-year-old driver was found dead in his parked car here early today, police said. Some of the passersby noticed the driver lying motionless in the vehicle on Thadagam Raod and informed the police.

A police team, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Nisha Parthiban, rushed to the spot and retreived the body.

Preliminary investigations showed the deceased, Ethiraj, was owner-cum-driver of the car and hailed from Udhagamandalam, police said.

Ethiraj had left Udhagamandalam yesterday at 5.30 pm, police said adding the cause of the death would be known only after post-mortem.
