CA Exams Postponed: When Can You Expect ICAI To Announce Revised Dates For Inter, Final Exams? 'In Due Course'

The remaining papers of CA Final, Intermediate and Post Qualification Course (PQC) examinations [International Taxation - Assessment Test (INTT AT)] conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has been postponed.

ICAI Exams Postponed

The ICAI has decided to revise the dates in view of the tense situation in the country following India's military attacks against nine terrorist infrastructure sites on Wednesday.

"It is announced for general information that in view of the tense and security situation in the Country, the remaining papers of Chartered Accountants Final, Intermediate and Post Qualification Course Examinations [International Taxation - Assessment Test (INTT AT)] May 2025 from 9th May 2025 to 14th May 2025, stand postponed," read the official notice.

The CA Final Group I exams were scheduled to be on May 2, 4, and 6. However, the Group II exams were scheduled for May 8, 10, and 13. The CA Intermediate Group I exams took place on May 3, 5, and 7 while the Group II exams were set for May 9, 11, and 14 which have now been postponed.

It has to be noted that the ICAI CA Foundation course exams have not been postponed and it will be held as per the schedule (May 15, 17, 19 and 21.)

Possible Dates of the Exam:

As of today, May 9, the ICAI has not yet announced the revised dates for the postponed examinations. Their official announcement states that the new dates will be declared "in due course." Candidates are advised to regularly check the official ICAI website (icai.org) for updates.
