Bus kills 8-year-old crossing Pamban bridge
Rameswaram (TN), Jul 13: An eight-year-old boy was killed after a speeding government bus knocked him down on the Pamban road bridge here today, police said.
Arjun of Udumalpet in Tirupur district was trying to cross the road along the 2-km long bridge, when a bus proceeding to Pattukottai fatally hit him.

The boy had come to Rameswaram with his family, who were part of a tourist group from Tirupur district, they said. The bus driver has been detained, police added. PTI COR ROH APR
