In a brave act, a DCM vehicle driver passing through the area stopped immediately after noticing the accident. He broke open the windows of the burning bus, helping several passengers escape in time. More than 10 passengers were injured while jumping out of the bus to save themselves from the flames.

Rescue Operations and Medical Aid

Police reached the accident site soon after receiving information about the crash. Fire department teams were also rushed to the spot and worked to bring the fire under control.

The injured passengers were rescued and shifted to the Nandyal Government Hospital for treatment. Officials said their condition is stable. An investigation has been initiated to determine the exact cause of the accident.
