Budget Session 2025: First Part Likely To Begin From January 31, Second One Between March 10 To April 4

The upcoming Budget session of Parliament is set to commence on 31 January 2025, as per the latest government notification.

The first part of the session will run from January 31 to February 13, 2025, while the second part will take place from March 10 to April 4, 2025.

Following recent consultations with economists and industry experts, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the second full budget of the Modi 3.0 government on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11 am in Parliament.

This marks Sitharaman's eighth consecutive budget presentation.

President's Address to Parliament

The President will address both Houses of Parliament assembled together on Friday, 31 January 2025, at 11 am.

Sitting of the Lok Sabha on 31 January 2025

The Lok Sabha will convene for government business half an hour after the conclusion of the President's address on 31 January 2025.

Timing of Lok Sabha Sittings

Unless otherwise directed by the Speaker, the Lok Sabha will sit from 11 am to 1 pm and again from 2 pm to 6 pm on sitting days.
