Budget 2024 Dedicated To Empower Youth, Middle Class: PM Modi
Hours after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented her seventh consecutive budget, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation, highlighting that the Budget 2024 empowers the neo-middle class, the poor, the villages, and the farmers.
He highlighted the budget's potential to create numerous opportunities for the youth.

"In the last 10 years, 25 crore people have come out of poverty. This budget is for the empowerment of the new middle class," Prime Minister Modi said.
"The youth will get unlimited opportunities from this budget," he added.
Modi also mentioned that the budget would boost education and skills development, benefiting women, small businesses, and MSMEs.
"Education and skill will get a new scale from this budget, and it will give power to the new middle class," he said.
One of the key highlights of the budget is the 'Employment Linked Incentive Scheme.' "In this Budget, the government has announced the 'Employment Linked Incentive Scheme,' which will help generate many employment opportunities," the Prime Minister noted.
"Under this scheme, the government will give the first salary to those who are newly entering the workforce. Youth from villages will be able to work in the country's top companies under the apprenticeship program."
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, presenting the Budget for 2024-25, remarked that this is the first budget of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government's third term in office.
She acknowledged the people's faith in the Modi government, as reflected in their re-election for a third term. Sitharaman also pointed out that India's economic growth continues to shine amid global economic uncertainties.
