BSF seizes fake currency worth around Rs 9 lakh from Malda
Fake Indian currency notes of face value Rs 8,98,000 were seized by the Border Security Force West Bengal's Malda on Friday. The BSF seized these fake notes near Daulatpur Border Out post area in Malda.

In a separate incident, three persons were arrested on charges of depositing fake currency notes in an automatic teller machine of a private bank Tamil Nadu's Theni on Friday.
Fake notes with a total face value of Rs 18.60 lakh, plain papers used for printing the notes and printing equipment were seized from their possession. Police said one of them, Jagangir, had allegedly deposited fake notes in the denomination of Rs 2000 with a face value of Rs 42,000 in the ATM.
They said the Bank manager told them that the machine had rejected the notes, adding, Jagangir, Abbaz and Kathiresan, were arrested after CCTV footage at the ATM kiosk was accessed.
