Brothers Assault and Strip Real Estate Agents Gathering Property Information in Mumbai
Three brothers in Mumbai's Andheri area have been accused of assaulting and stripping three real estate agents. The agents were reportedly gathering information and taking photos of the brothers' property. Sattar Turak, aged 54, Ajit, aged 50, and Farooque, aged 53, have been arrested, according to a DN Nagar police station official.

The agents visited the Andheri West site a few days ago for property details. The brothers became suspicious upon seeing them take photos. They then took the agents to a nearby shop and attacked them with sticks. The official stated that the brothers not only assaulted the agents but also stripped them and recorded the incident.
Video Shared on Social Media
The video of the incident was shared on social media platforms. In it, one of the accused is seen threatening to give electric shocks to the victims' private parts. The real estate agents specialise in identifying properties for redevelopment. They claimed they were mistaken for informers by the accused.
The police have charged the brothers under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). These charges include intentionally causing harm with a dangerous weapon, wrongful restraint, criminal force, insult, and criminal intimidation. The investigation is ongoing as authorities gather more details about the incident.
The case highlights concerns over safety for professionals working in real estate. It also raises questions about privacy and security when gathering information about properties. The legal proceedings will determine the consequences for those involved in this violent episode.
