British engineer found dead in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 10: A 55-year-old British engineer was found dead in the Defence Colony area here, Delhi Police said on Monday.

Paul Barker was working as a tunnel manager with Pratibha Industries.

"At around 2 p.m. on Sunday, we found Barker lying naked in his bedroom. There was no sign of any forceful entry," Defence Colony SHO Kuldeep Singh told IANS.

According to police, Barker's friends informed them about the incident.

Police, however, don't suspect any foul play.

"He was a regular heavy drinker and might have died due to cardiac arrest," the police officer said.

"Though there was no external injury on his body but we are waiting for the postmortem report to ascertain the cause of death."
