Pakistani Drone Spotted Near LoC, Army Opens Fire A After Masood Azhar’s Suicide Bombers’ Threat: Report

Tension gripped several border areas in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday evening after security forces detected the movement of suspected Pakistani drones hovering near the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB).

According to officials, the sightings were reported from multiple locations, including the Samba, Rajouri, and Poonch districts, prompting immediate security and search operations by Indian forces.

The sudden appearance of drones along sensitive border zones has once again raised concerns about cross-border surveillance and possible arms or narcotics smuggling attempts from across Pakistan.

Multiple Drone Sightings Reported

Sources said that the Indian Army opened fire at one of the drones spotted near the Nowshera sector in Rajouri district after it was seen moving close to the LoC. Troops immediately launched a search operation in the area to rule out the possibility of any material being dropped on the Indian side.

One must know that this come a day after the viral audio of Masood Azar - the chief of the banned terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), has surfaced online. In the recording, the UN-designated terrorist is reportedly heard claiming that a large group of suicide attackers is ready to launch assaults at any moment.

Masood Azhar, who has been accused of orchestrating several terror attacks against India while operating from Pakistan, can be heard boasting about the scale of his organization's militant network.

In the purported audio, he claims that more than a thousand suicide bombers are awaiting his command to infiltrate India. Azhar allegedly says that the actual number of fighters under his control is so large that revealing it would cause a global uproar.

In his own words, he states, "These suicide bombers are not one, not two, not a hundred, not even a thousand. If I disclose the full count, it would make headlines across the world tomorrow."

The voice in the clip further describes the militants as being "highly motivated" and eager to sacrifice their lives for what he calls their "cause." Security agencies are currently reviewing the recording, though its source, timing, and authenticity have not been independently verified.

Masood Azhar, who remains one of India's most wanted terrorists, has been sheltered in Pakistan for years despite international pressure. He was the mastermind behind multiple attacks on Indian soil, including the 2016 Pathankot airbase assault and the 2019 Pulwama terror attack that killed 40 CRPF personnel.
