Boy run over by train while taking selfie in UP

Saharanpur, April 15: A 16-year-old boy was run over by a train today, apparently while he was taking a selfie, at Chunhati railway gate on Delhi Road here.

Kartik Kakkar, a student of class X in Rainbow School here, went cycling with his three friends this morning when the mishap occurred, police said.

The Haridwar-Ajmer Express ran over the boy and dragged him almost 500 metres due to which his both legs and an arm were severed and he died on the spot, they said.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, police said.
