Americans call Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra a 'Terrorist'

Mumbai, Jan 23: In a shocking revelation,

actress Priyanka Chopra said that she once had become a victim of

attack in US. The actress was reportedly tagged as 'Arabic Terrorist'.

The actress, who earlier had won the crown of 'Miss World' in 2000, said about her experience with Americans during one of her interview with the Wall Street Journal.

The leading actress of Bollywood said that she was tagged as "an Arab terrorist" by fans of a football league in America. Recalling the incident, Priyanka said that she was shocked to know the comment made by the Americans.

Priyanka Chopra has also been subjected to racial slurs in her childhood

Priyanka, during the interview with the daily, said that she believes that one shouldn't be passing such remarks on the basis of one's skin colour.

The Bollywood actress also informed that she has also been subjected to racial slurs in her childhood and has learnt how to deal with it.

Earlier another Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty had become the victim of racist attack during a International celebrity show Big Brother which was aired on Channel 4.

The incidents centred on comments made by contestants on this reality television show, most notably the late Jade Goody, glamour model Danielle Lloyd, and singer Jo O'Meara, which were directed towards Shilpa Shetty.

The screening of these comments on UK television resulted in national and international media coverage, responses from the UK and Indian governments.
