Death Sentence: Bollywood actor Salman Khan ignites Yakub Memon controversy
Mumbai, July 26: Days before Yakub Memon's capital punishment, Bollywood actor Salman Khan ignited the controversy. Speaking about Yakub Memon's death sentence, the actor surprised everyone.
In a series of tweets, Salman Khan urged Indian government to hang Tiger Memon and not his brother Yakub.

Salman's tweets surfaced when the Supreme Court is all set to hear Yakub Memon's plea challenging the death warrant issued against him.

Yakub, the convict of 1993 Bombay blasts case, urged the court for the stay of his execution set for July 30.
Meanwhile, Additional Director General (ADG) of Police (prisons) Meera Borwankar visited the Central Prison in Nagpur to supervise the ongoing preparations for the scheduled hanging of Yakub.
