Blinkit Launches 10-Minute Ambulance Service In Gurgaon For Fast Emergency Response
Blinkit has launched a rapid ambulance service, promising delivery within just 10 minutes, with Gurgaon becoming the first city to benefit from this swift emergency transport.
This new service will allow Blinkit users to order an ambulance directly to their doorstep in critical situations, ensuring quicker response times during medical emergencies.

Blinkit's Ambitious Move Towards Better Healthcare Access
Blinkit's CEO, Albinder Dhindsa, took to social media to announce this innovative step, highlighting the company's commitment to solving the problem of delayed ambulance services. In a post on X, Dhindsa revealed, "We are taking our first step towards providing quick and reliable ambulance services in our cities. The first five ambulances are on the road in Gurugram, and we plan to expand this service to more areas soon."
As part of the expansion, Blinkit will allow users to book Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances directly via the Blinkit app. The aim is to make the service available across all major cities in the coming years.
State-of-the-Art Ambulances Equipped for Emergencies
The newly launched ambulances come fully equipped with essential life-saving equipment. Each vehicle will be outfitted with oxygen cylinders, defibrillators, monitors, stretchers, and emergency medicines. Additionally, each ambulance will have a trained paramedic and an assistant, alongside the driver, ensuring optimal care during transport.
Affordable and Accessible Emergency Service
While Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa refrained from disclosing the exact costs, he emphasized that the company aims to make the service affordable. "Profit is not the goal here; our focus is to solve this critical issue. We will operate at an affordable cost for customers and invest in this service for the long term," Dhindsa said. The company is keen on scaling up the service to meet the growing demand in major cities.
Blinkit's Recent Initiatives and Future Plans
This new ambulance service follows Blinkit's recent launch of a large order fleet designed for electric vehicles to handle bulk and party orders. Initially available in Delhi and Gurgaon, this service is expected to expand to other cities soon. Blinkit's efforts to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction through such initiatives demonstrate its ongoing commitment to innovation.
As Blinkit continues to innovate and expand its services, the launch of the 'Ambulance in 10 Minutes' service is poised to revolutionize emergency healthcare transport, saving precious time and potentially countless lives.
