BJP's Sambit Patra Slams Congress For Parliament Chaos And Hiding Constitution Manipulation

In a fiery response to the disruptions in Parliament, BJP MP Sambit Patra accused the Congress party of deliberately hindering proceedings, claiming it was part of their habitual strategy to spread confusion and frustration.

Congress Creating Chaos in Parliament

Patra started his statement by highlighting how the Congress party has been preventing Parliament from functioning smoothly. He claimed that Congress's repeated attempts to create disruptions were a "habit" aimed at creating chaos in the legislative body. "It has been the habit of Congress to carry out gimmicks and spread lies. They don't let the Parliament run because of their frustration," Patra remarked.

Congress's Frustration Exposed After Constitution Debate

The BJP MP emphasized that the real reason behind the opposition's frustration stemmed from the ongoing democratic debate on India's Constitution. Patra argued that the Congress party's historical role in the manipulation of the Constitution had been exposed during these discussions. "After the democratic debate on the Constitution, the reality of the Congress is exposed. They have all tumbled out of the cupboard," he said.

Accusations of Manipulating the Constitution

Patra specifically targeted Congress leaders, including Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajeev Gandhi, and Sonia Gandhi, accusing them of manipulating the Constitution for their political gain. He went on to say, "It is well known that the one who manipulated the Constitution was Jawahar Lal Nehru, and when Indira Gandhi and Rajeev Gandhi were the PMs and Sonia Gandhi was the shadow PM."

Frustration Cannot Hold the Country Hostage

In closing, Patra made it clear that the Congress party's frustration could not dictate the future of the country. "They are frustrated but they cannot hold the country to ransom because of their frustration," he said, reinforcing the BJP's stance on the constitutional debate and the Congress's role in the political dynamics.

The Ongoing Political Battle

Patra's remarks are the latest salvo in the ongoing political battle between the ruling BJP and the Congress party. With tensions high over the handling of India's Constitution and its historical context, this war of words seems set to escalate in the coming days. The country watches as both parties continue to spar, setting the stage for an intense political showdown.
