BJP workers pelt stones at Yeddyurappa's vehicle
Irked by Yeddyurappa not stopping at their constituency, supporters of Nagesh Choudari, a ticket aspirant for the upcoming assembly election, pelted stones and created a ruckus.
Some BJP workers pelted stones at party's state president B S Yeddyurappa's vehicle in Banasandra of Turuvekere on Friday.
Irked by Yeddyurappa not stopping at their constituency, supporters of Nagesh Choudari, a ticket aspirant for the upcoming assembly election, pelted stones and created a ruckus.
Nagesh is said to have gathered about a 1000 supporters at Banasandra to show the support he has got.
Yeddyurappa decided not to stop over at the spot. Irked by this the supporters of the local leader resorted to stone pelting.
Yeddyurappa, has meanwhile, denied any division within the party and said that all concerns would be addressed
Nagesh is said to have been sacked from the party last week after allegations of anti-party activities were levelled against him. Supporters were also looking for an explanation from Yeddyurappa on Nagesh's sacking.
