BJP worker killed as bomb being made by him goes off

Kannur, Aug 21: A 27-year-old BJP worker died when a country bomb which he was allegedly making exploded at his residence in Koothuparambu here today, police said.

Deekshit was seriously injured in the blast and died while being rushed to a hospital, they said.

The roof of the house where he was "making" the bomb was destroyed in the blast, they further said.
