BJP Worker and Associates Arrested for Orchestrating Attack in Land Dispute

A month after a BJP worker claimed he was shot and injured in Chandausi, he and three others were arrested for staging the incident, according to police. On July 27, Prem Pal, 55, from the BJP's local unit, alleged he was shot due to a land dispute. His shoulder had an alleged gunshot wound, stated Circle Officer Pradeep Kumar.

"We found that Prem Pal, with the help of Rahul and Jayveer and two compounders -- Amir and Sharafat -- had staged the attack," said CO Kumar.
