BJP will fade away like Congress: Shiv Sena

Shiv Sena feels that the BJP is not working on the ground but only caring about the victories and might lose people's interest like Congress.

Mumbai, April 24: Taking a jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Shiv Sena on Monday said that BJP will also face the fate like Congress facing now. In its editorial mouth piece, Saamna, the Sena had said that Congress used to enjoy the victories all over the country and forgot about the work that had to be done for the people.

It asserted that BJP's condition has become like once Congress used to be, enjoying the glorious time and forgetting the ground work.

It added that there was a time when Congress was so powerful and all the party cared about was the victory. Similarly, BJP is doing the same thing and will join taste the fate soon.

The Sena also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in the states are coming up with new tricks to win the polls. It said that till the people enjoys the new tricks by the BJP, they will keep winning.

Recently, the BJP had reclaimed power in Uttar Pradesh after 15 years and now looking for power in other states where they were been weaker.

It is to be mention that, during its national cadre executive meet in Bhubaneswar, party chief Amit Shah had asked the leaders not to be very happy with the victory in Uttar Pradesh elections. He had also said that the golden period for the party will begin only when it rules from 'Panchayat to Parliament' and gains power in states like Odisha, Bengal, Kerala, Tripura and Telangana.
