BJP To Announce 100 Lok Sabha Candidates' Name Next Week, May Include PM Modi, Amit Shah's Names: Reports
According to the reports, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to announce a list of 100 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections by next week. The reports added that the first list of candidates would also include Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah's names.
PM Modi is expected to continue contesting from Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency.

The reports added that BJP's Central Election Committee members are likely to meet on Thursday, February 29. BJP-led NDA's first list will clear the picture and would give an idea about the road map of how the NDA is going to achieve its target of 400+ seats.
It is expected that the list of candidates will have names from Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. Reports said these 100 seats are considered weak as the party couldn't win them in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
"I can gauge the mood of the nation, it will definitely give the NDA more than 400 seats and the BJP at least 370 seats," PM Modi said while addressing the house after the Motion of Thanks on the President's address and he also coined the slogan of "Ab ki baar, 400 paar."
Earlier today, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari slammed the opposition's INDIA bloc members AAP and Congress after they jointly announced a seat-sharing formula for Delhi for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024.
