BJP-RSS coordination meeting on Thursday to discuss feedback and the organisation
New Delhi, July 18: Coordination meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will take place on July 19 to discuss the Lok Sabha election preparations. It is indicated that some major changes are expected in the organisation anytime soon in view of elections.

Sources said that senior BJP leaders including Party president Amit Shah, organising secretary Ram Lal, other general secretaries of the BJP and RSS leaders like sahsarkaryawah Krishna Gopal and another sahsarkaryawah Suresh Soni will be part of the meeting. Actually the meeting is happening immediately after a week-long meeting of prant pracharaks at Somnath in Gujarat from July 12 to July 18 where 2019 elections have been thoroughly discussed.
Sources said that the meeting was all the more important because the RSS has divided the responsibility of the government and the organisation between the two of its sahsarkaryawah (joint general secretary). Suresh Soni will now be working as the bridge between the organisation and the RSS while Krishna Gopal will be coardinating with the RSS and the government.
In the coardination meeting, the RSS leaders are expected to share their feedbacks that have been gathered by 107 RSS pracharaks who are touring length and breadth of the country from the past seven months. As one of the pracharak touring the country said that there was no visible problem in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and for that matter in Haryan but Rajasthan people have some issues with the leadership.
Similar such feedback to be shared with the BJP leadership for course correction. It will also share feedback about the MPs of particular constituencies where these pracharaks have been asked to visit. It is not only that these issues will be discuss but the coordination meeting will also discuss the issue of organization not just of the central BJP but organisations at the state level as well.
Sources said that there were major reshuffle on cards in the organisation of the BJP. If sources are to be believed, the BJP leadership will not only make changes in the organisation as major reshuffle at the general secretary but a major overhaul is expected in the media team as well in view of the elections and media needs to be handled very careful at this juncture.
Obviously report card of the MPs seeking ticket again may also be part of the agenda of the meeting. The BJP is preparing report card of every sitting MP which plans to deny ticket to 30-40 per cent its sitting MPs. However, there are around 50 such MPs which are either unfit to contest due to age factor or for their inefficient workings among people.
