BJP MP Sangeet Som embarks on 'Paidal Nirbhay Yatra' today
Lucknow, June 17: BJP MP Sangeet Som will embark on "Paidal Nirbhay Yatra" across western Uttar Pradesh from Friday to make people feel secure. The yatra will start from Meerut and culminate in Shamli district.
An accused in the Muzaffarnagar riots in 2013, he is here to instill confidence among the people and ensure them that the party will stand with them and instill confidence in people who are scared of the "communal atmosphere" that is being created by some parties.

Meanwhile, the 8-member BJP review team blamed the UP government over the law and order situation in the state because of which 346 families have already migrated from the village and many more are willing to follow suit.
Suresh Kumar, a BJP spokesperson said, "The common man is not feeling safe and is helpless as he has no options but to live in an unsafe environment and the Uttar Pradesh government is fully responsible for this. Today I spoke with many people. The list which was released by Hukum Singh ji only included 346 families from Kairana and 83 of Kandla whwre as in real there are more people who have left the village and there are many more you are willing to do the same."
Earlier BJP MP Hukum Singh presented a list of 346 families from Muslim majority villages who migrated to other places, leaving behind their homes after attacks and extortion attempts.
