UP: BJP MP receives threat call, lodges police complaint

Mau (UP), Aug 18: A BJP MP today lodged a complaint alleging that he received a threat call from a person, police said here.

"I received a phone call from a person who identified himself as Umesh Yadav and threatened to eliminate me within 15 days," Ghosi MP Harinarain Rajbhar said. "Though I have lodged a police complaint, I have no faith in them.

I am living under fear as no security has been provided to me so far," he added. Circle Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh said a case was lodged under relevant sections of the IPC.
