BJP MLA Suresh Kumar denies reports of his daughter's arrest

Former BJP minister Suresh Kumar rubbished reports of his daughter distributing money in Rajajajinagar assembly constituency. Suresh Kumar in a video posted on his facebook wall outrightly rejected the news about his daughter's arrest by Bengaluru police.

On social media platforms, the news of Dr. Disha's arrest by the Bengaluru police, while allegedly distributing money at Dhobi Ghat in Rajajajinagar, was doing rounds.

Suresh Kumar clarified that Disha is working for the BJP social media team in the run-up to the assembly election. He said, " I didn't distribute money and will never do so."

Dr. Disha told a private television that she was carrying money for personal transaction, not for distribution and in the meantime, few unknown men created the ruckus.

Suresh Kumar is known as an honest politician in Karnataka politics. He has won the constituency four times since 1994.

Congress has fielded former Mayor Padmavathi in the constituency in this election.

Voting for the assembly election will be held on May 12 and counting on May 15.
