BJP may lodge complain against Nilekani over Aadhar ads

New Delhi, March 7: The

to the Election Commission against the advertisements of Aadhar that are appearing in all sorts of electronic print media, despite the code of conduct by the EC.

Nilekani has been offered a Congress ticket from Bangalore South constituency and has launched an advertisement campaign in print, TV and web ahead of the elections. Some of these ads have details of Aadhar and his achievements as the UIDAI chairman.

In fact, BJP is accusing Nilekani of misusing his position in the UIDAI. Nilekani has been fielded against BJP leader and 5-time MP Ananthkumar.
