Subramanian Swamy wants MDMK out of NDA
New Delhi, Nov 4: BJP leader Subramanian Swamy today said ally MDMK should be sent a show cause notice for termination of its membership in the NDA as it was "antithetical" to the nationalist outlook of the coalition parties.

Swamy said in a statement that he has spoken to party President Amit Shah and in charge of Rajiv Pratap Rudy to take a call whether MDMK should continue in the NDA in view of its leader Vaiko's "crass anti nationalism and covert secessionist pronouncements".

Swamy also blamed the Congress party leadership for Tamil Nadu strongman GK Vasan's departure from the party, adding that the Nehru-Gandhi family has got a suffocating grip on everyone.

"There is no doubt that the Lok Sabha elections were a big defeat for Congress. The party leadership should have resigned but instead this grip that the Nehru Gandhi family has got is suffocating everybody in the party. That is why Vasan has chosen to resign," said Swamy.
