MP: BJP leader's son booked for rape
Tikamgarh (MP), Oct 6: A local BJP leader's son has been booked for allegedly raping his 25-year-old woman colleague, police said today.
Lidhora Tehsil BJP Mandal Vice President Mahesh Sahu's son Ajay Singh (35) was booked yesterday for raping the woman, Kotwali police station Inspector RP Choudhary said.

He said Ajay and the victim, who hailed from Tikamgarh town, worked at a private establishment.
According to the victim's complaint, the accused offered to drop her at her residence after office hours. He then raped her at a deserted place at Lidhora area on Saturday.
Ajay has been booked under section 376 (rape) of IPC and further investigations are on. We have also booked his driver, who was at the wheels during the crime, under section 34 (act done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC, police said.
A hunt has been launched to trace the accused, they added.
