BJP leader Navjot Singh Sidhu's convoy attacked in Jammu; 4 policemen injured
Srinagar, Dec 18: Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu on Thursday faced an attack in Jammu's Bohar camp area.
According to reports, stones were hurled at Sidhu's convoy when he was on his way to address an election campaign rally in Gandhi Nagar constituency. The attackers were identified as the members of Sikh community.

Four policemen received minor injuries in the unprecedented incident. The security near Sidhu's accomodation has been heightened due to the attack.
Stones were also pelted at Sidhu's convoy at Digiana in Jammu, two days ago.
Two arrested
Jammu Police claimed to have arrested two persons in connection with the attack.
Meanwhile, the BJP condemned the attack and alleged that Congress is behind these attacks.
Sidhu blames Punjab CM
Sidhu, later blamed Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for sending miscreants to attack him.

Disband Congress, PDP and NC from J&K: Sidhu
Promising bright future, Navjot Singh Sidhu on Wednesday had asked the people to disband Congress, PDP and NC from this state and give only one chance to his party.
"We promised for the bright future for J&K. We ask people to disband the Congress, PDP and NC from this state and give only one chance to BJP", Sidhu said while addressing a public rally in support of BJP candidate from Jammu West Sat Sharma.
Sidhu said after the failure of Congress, PDP and NC, who failed in all fronts to solve the issues of people in this state, now people should give a chance to BJP to serve them.
"The successive governments in this state only misled people on every occasion and give them only hallow assurances. However, the funds meant for development of this state were misused by the leaders of these parties and deprived the people to get the fruits of development in this state," said Sidhu, who was flanked by candidate and BJP MP and Incharge J&K, Avinash Rai Khanna.
Sidhu said that from the day, Narendra Modi become the Prime Minister of India, he is very serious about the development of this state and want to make this state a model state as compared to the Gujrat state.
The fifth and the final phase of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir is scheduled for Saturday, Dec 20. The results will be declared on Tuesday, Dec 23.
