'BJP has no role in favourable verdict for Jayalalithaa'
Chennai, May 11: The BJP on Monday said it has not interfered in any court judgments, including the one that acquitted former chief minister J. Jayalalithaa.
In a statement issued here, BJP's Tamil Nadu unit president Tamilisai Soundararajan said the Bharatiya Janata Party has not interfered in this or any other court judgments.

She said the court has provided a big relief to Jayalaltihaa and the former chief ministrer should ensure that the people of this state also get such a relief.
Earlier on Monday, the Karnataka High Court struck down a trial court's verdict convicting the AIADMK general secretary in the Rs.66.65-crore disproportionate assets case.
