BJP govt more than welcome to declassify Netaji files: Mani Shankar Aiyar
Kolkata, Sep 18: Senior Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar today said the Centre is "more than welcome" to declassify files it has on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
"BJP is more than welcome to declassify the files," Aiyar told PTI on the sidelines of a program here in Kolkata. Aiyar's comment comes against the backdrop of West Bengal government today declassifying 64 Netaji files it had in its custody.
Asked to comment on recent revelations that Netaji's family members were snooped upon till the mid 1960s by successive Congress governments, he said, "I have not seen those files... I don't know what is there in them. So I can't comment on it."
