BJP govt helping absconder Lalit Modi: Sachin Pilot

Jaipur, July 4: State Congress chief Sachin Pilot on Friday alleged that both central and state governments were helping former commissioner of IPL Lalit Modi.

"The dual policy of BJP was exposed, and their 'kathani and karni's' difference was known to every one as highest people in Central and state governments' were putting their efforts and energy to help LaMo who was an absconder from India," Pilot said while addressing party workers in Swaimadhopur-Dholpur-Karauli belt.

PM's silence on the Raje-LaMo row was now proven fact and Raje had lost moral responsibility as she had not resigned from CM post, he said.

AICC General Secretary and party in charge of Rajasthan Gurudas Kamat alleged Raje and LaMo had together did an IPL scam of Rs 10,000 cr, and crores of rupees were deposited in the account of Raje's son Dushyant Singh.

They urged the party workers to get united to contest Civic Bodies elections slated next month, party said in a release.
