BJP Foundation Day: PM Modi Thanks Nation For Historic Electoral Mandates To Saffron Party, Lauds Workers
BJP Foundation Day: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended greetings to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and workers as saffron party marked another year of its establishment. In a post on X, PM Modi said, "This important day (BJP foundation day) reiterates our unparalleled commitment to India's progress and to realising the dream of a Viksit Bharat."
PM said that the people of this country have been lauding the BJP's agenda of good governance by giving the party historic mandates at every level. BJP governments' motto is to serve society and ensure all-round development continuously.

Calling party cadre backbone of the BJP, PM Modi extended wishes to hardworking Karyakartas. PM added that he is proud of BJP workers as they help people round the clock in every corner of the country.

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Sahib Singh Verma, and others were some prominent names that gave party a national identity. BJP was also seen as the only party that put Hindutva at the forefront.
Beating all the challenges, BJP came to power for the first time in 1990 with support from alliance parties. In 2014, it was the first time when BJP came to power with a full majority by winning 338 seats.
The impressive performance continued in 2019 also as the BJP got a clear mandate for the second term. Magical influence amoung almost every section of the society, PM Modi emerged as the most popular leader of the country. During the period BJP formed governments in over 20 states, and the number of its followers grew rapidly.
BJP leaders claim that their party has now become the world's biggest party.
The good performance continued in 2024 also as PM Modi came to power for the third term and is serving the nation till date.
