UP - BJP expels state Mahila Morcha chief

Lucknow, Apr 4: BJP state Mahila Morcha chief Madhu Mishra was today expelled from the party for six years over a controversial statement made by her in Aligarh recently.

Taking strong note of her remarks, State BJP president Laxmi Kant Bajpai today expelled her from the party for a period of six years, party spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said in a statement issued here.

"Making use of the constitution, remember these people who are ruling over you used to once polish your boots. This happened because we were divided," Madhu had recently said.
