BJP-CPM workers go on rampage in Kerala, several leaders targeted
Several incidents of violence have been reported in Kerala and the BJP's state office too was vandalised. Since last night workers of both parties have gone on a rampage and attacked many houses of leaders.
The houses of CMP leader K Balakrishna and several BJP councillors were also attacked in the violence.
CPM and BJP activists went on a rampage at Manacaud-Attukal-Chalai area in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday night. Incidents of sloganeering, damaging houses and vehicles were reported in large numbers.

Ten houses of political leaders and ward councillors were damaged and about 20 persons were injured. Cars and bikes parked in front of houses were also damaged. Even passers by and shop keepers were not spared of the violence.
The violence is a result of the cold war between the two parties that has been on for the past several days.
CITU Manacaud Area Secretary Shyam was hacked and he has been admitted to a private hospital in the City. DYFI Chalai Area Secretary Unni was beaten up. His house was attacked. The pick-up auto parked in front of the house was also smashed.
