BJP, CPI-M workers clash in Kerala; 16 injured
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 14: Former Kerala BJP state President V Muraleedharan was among 16 persons injured in a clash between workers of the party and CPI-M at nearby Kattayikonam today.
A procession of BJP activists on certain local issues resulted in the clash with CPI-M workers, police said.

The clash occurred after stones were allegedly pelted at the processionists, they said, adding most of the injured were BJP workers.
The 16 injured were treated at the Medical College Hospital, sources in the hospital said.
BJP has called for a 12-hour hartal tomorrow in the district protesting the attack on its workers by CPI-M.
