BJP, Congress in neck-to-neck fight in MP, Chhattisgarh: Survey
The latest such opinion poll survey has been conducted by Zee Media. According to the Zee Media- C fore survey, the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh are set for a neck-to-neck fight.
The survey findings are in total contrast with what earlier poll surveys have predicted for MP, where it has been expected that the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJPis likely to retain power for the third term in MP.
It won't be a cakewalk for BJP in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, survey says.
The C-fore survey found out that the BJP is projected to win between 100 to 110 of the total 230 seats means garnering 35% of the total votes.
On the other hand, the MP Congress is expected to win 99 to 109 seats means garnering 34% of the total votes.
The Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), who is also in the poll fray in MP, may gain 5 to 12 assembly seats while Others may beg between 10 to 12 seats.

The incumbent CM Chouhan , who is popular in both urban as well as rural areas is leading far ahead from Congress's Scindia by 59% to 24 %.
Among prominent MP Congress leaders who may emerge as hopeful for CM race, in case if Congress comes to power in MP, then the state voters have preferred Jyotiraditya Scindia over former state CM Digvijay Singh and Union Minister Kamal Nath.
MP goes to assembly polls on November 25 in a single phase.
Chhattisgarh poll survey
In Chhattisgarh, the survey found out a similar situation where the ruling- BJP and the opposition- Congress are expected to win between 41 to 46 assembly seats out of total 90, while each party garnering 39% of total vote share.
The BSP may get 1 to 2 seats and Others may bag 2 to 3 seats.
In Chhattisgarh, the asembly polls are scheduled to take place in two phases- Nov 11 and Nov 19.
