BJP cautions State govt over 'Hawala money flow' from Gulf to J&K
Jammu, Apr 29: Jammu and Kashmir BJP today raised concern over reported flow of hawala money from Gulf countries into the Valley and asked the state and central governments to take a serious note and act strongly against such anti-India forces.
"We caution the government and the Kashmiri Muslim society that if strong will is not exhibited and hard steps not taken at this juncture, Kashmir shall meet disaster and it shall lose its identity," J&K BJP spokesperson Virender Gupta said today.

He also expressed serious concern over reports that a large number of new mosques and seminaries are coming up claiming it is being done with a purpose to radicalise Kashmiri Muslim youths. He alleged the youths were being brainwashed and trained as militant and made part of the separatists, militants and anti-India forces.
Gupta said frequent waving of ISIS and Pakistan flags, raising of anti-India and pro-Pak slogans and stone pelting on security forces indicate the gravity of the situation emerging in the Valley.
He asked both the state as well as the central governments to take a serious note of the situation and act strongly against anti-India forces to boost morale of security forces who are fighting for restoration of peace in the Valley.
He alleged that the government and police deliberately ignored holding of 30 friendly cricket matches between 12 teams, extended over a period of 2-3 months, in various parts of the valley which were sponsored and arranged by separatist groups.
Consequently, a prize distribution function in the name of the separatists killed was held under the chairmanship of a father of a hard-core terrorist, he claimed. BJP also took a dig at the state government over the NIT incident.
This was a great negligence on the part of the government as the cricket matches were used as instruments in motivating the youths to bring them under the banner of separatists, Gupta said.
On the one hand, police used force against non-local students of NIT Srinagar who were raising pro-India slogans and carrying national flag and beat them mercilessly, while on the other hand, it allowed the anti-national event to be held and skipped the venue of the event deliberately, he alleged.
