BJP Candidate List For Arunachal Pradesh Assembly Polls Out: Check List
The BJP on Wednesday released the names of its candidates for all 60 assembly seats in Arunachal Pradesh.
Going by the list, Chief Minister Pema Khandu will be contesting from Mukto seat which he is representing in the current House.
The party's Central Election Committee approved the names in a recent meeting, a statement from the BJP said.

Assembly polls in the northeast state are held along with Lok Sabha elections. The BJP had won 41 seats in the 2019 assembly polls.
Three Congress MLAs who recently switched allegiance to the BJP have been included in the party's list of candidates. Also, the party has put forward four women candidates, one of whom is relatively new to politics.
However, Home Minister Bamang Felix (Nyapin seat), Industries Minister Tumke Bagra (Aalo West), and Agriculture Minister Tage Taki (Ziro-Hapoli) were not given tickets by the party.
Last week, the BJP announced that Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Tapir Gao would be contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Arunachal West and Arunachal East constituencies, respectively.
Several sitting BJP MLAs, including Laisam Simai (Nampong), Kento Rina (Nari-Koyu), Tsering Tashi (Tawang), and Lokam Tasar (Koloriang), were also denied tickets.
Furthermore, the party decided not to field women legislators Gum Tayeng (Dambuk) and Jumum Ete Deori (Lekang).
Among the four female candidates nominated by the BJP, Nyabi Jini Dirchi (Basar) is a newcomer to the political arena, while the other three are Tsering Lhamu (Lumla), Dasanglu Pul (Hayuliang), and Chakat Aboh (Khonsa West).
Three Congress MLAs who recently joined the BJP were also nominated: Ninong Ering (Pasighat West), Lombo Tayeng (Mebo), and Wangling Lowangdong (Borduria-Bogapani).
