Bizarre! Bride refuses groom's 'nude selfie' demand; wedding cancelled

Mumbai, Aug 27: It is common to hear cases about women being harassed for dowry after marriage. But this man in Thane, Maharashtra went one step ahead when he demanded a nude selfie from his would-be bride!

According to news reports, the bizarre demand was made by 33-year-old Jitendra Ramakrishna and his families, who allegedly told the girl's family that they would allow marriage to be consummated, only if they fulfill their demand.

Jitendra allegedly told the woman that if she agrees to send her nude selfie, then only he will finalise the marriage date.

Besides, he also demanded for Rs 3 lakh cash and a bike.

Girl's family cancels wedding

Left astonished by groom and his family's cheap demand, the girl's family called off the wedding.

They also lodged a complaint against them at a police station. Now, the entire family is cooling their heels behind bars.

According to police, Jitendra's family had planned to blackmail the bride and her family for more dowry, after getting her nude selfie.
