BITS Pilani-Hyderabad student commits suicide
In yet another shocking incident, a 21-year-old engineering student of Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani-Hyderabad campus, committed suicide in his hostel room on Monday.

The victim has been identified as Raghav Shantaram, a native of Chennai. The incident happened around 1:45 pm.
Raghav was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his room by a friend. Raghav was a third year student of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) branch.
No suicide note was recovered. However, a case had been registered and further investigations were underway.
Earlier last month, a similar incident was reported from BITS Pilani-Hyderabad campus. A 19-year-old student T Varun, who was pursuing second year of Engineering committed suicide allegedly under the influence of the dreaded Blue Whale challenge game. He had used a plastic bag wrap to suffocate himself in Gandipet.
