Birthday Ends In Tragedy As Youth Killed By His Friends Over Food Bill In Mumbai
The birthday of a youth ended in a tragedy as he was killed by his four friends over a dispute over a food bill. The incident occurred in the Baiganwadi area of Govandi in Mumbai.
The deceased identified as Sabir Ansari had thrown a party for his four friends on the occasion of his 20th birthday at a roadside dhaba on May 31.

The bill had come around Rs 10,000 and the friends had agreed to pay their share of the amount.
The birthday boy had gone to the houses of the accused Shahrukh and his 3 other friends to ask for his money. However, they refused to pay and threatened him.
A day later, he was celebrating his birthday with his other friends in the Shivaji Nagar area of Govandi around 8 pm. All the four accused turned up at the party and attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon. He was grievously injured while the accused escaped from the crime scene.
The victim was rushed to the hospital after the cops arrived at the spot. However, the hospital authorities declared brought dead.
Later, the cops arrested two of the accused, Shahrukh and Nishar from Ahmedabad, and sent the other two minor accused to the juvenile home. The case has been registered under sections 302, 323, 109 and 34 of the IPC, according to a report in India Today.
