Bihar Utsav 2025: Showcasing Bihar's Rich Art, Culture, and Tradition in Delhi
The much-anticipated 'Bihar Utsav 2025' is currently being held at Dilli Haat, INA, from March 16 to March 31. The festival aims to celebrate and revive Bihar's glorious art, culture, and traditions, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience the state's rich heritage up close.
The event brings together rural artisans, weavers, and handicraftsmen from Bihar, displaying their exquisite creations. The festival offers an immersive cultural experience, featuring traditional crafts, textiles, and artworks that highlight Bihar's artistic brilliance.

A special highlight of the event will be the grand cultural program on March 22, marking Bihar Day. Traditional folk music and dance performances will enthrall the audience, providing a deep connection to Bihar's cultural roots.
The festival was inaugurated by Mr. Kundan Kumar, IAS, Resident Commissioner of Bihar Bhawan, with Mr. Shekhar Anand, IAS, Director of Technical Development, serving as the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kundan Kumar remarked, "Bihar Utsav is not merely an exhibition of art and culture; it is a significant platform to connect Bihar's heritage with the country and the world. We hope this festival will inspire Delhiites to appreciate Bihar's unique craftsmanship and encourage them to visit the state."
Echoing similar sentiments, Chief Guest Mr. Shekhar Anand stated, "Events like Bihar Utsav provide national and international recognition to our artisans. This festival not only promotes their skills but also contributes significantly to the economic growth and cultural preservation of Bihar."
The festival features an extensive range of handicrafts, including Bihar's renowned silk, khadi, Madhubani, Tikuli, and Manjusha paintings, as well as Swelling embroidery, coin art, and wood and bamboo products. Food lovers can also indulge in authentic Bihari delicacies available at the stalls.
Bihar Utsav 2025, an annual initiative by the Government of Bihar, aims to bring Bihar's art, culture, and traditions to a wider audience across the country, reinforcing the state's rich and diverse cultural identity.
