By the time, the ambulance arrived, she had already delivered. The college officials later admitted her to a hospital.

"Both the baby and the child are healthy," said SK Singh, a college official. The class 12 exams began last week with tight security in 882 centers, while non-teaching college employees in the state are on an indefinite strike.

This year's examination, in fact, is significant as a record number of girls-410,662-have appeared for the exams. On an overall, 981,778 students appeared for the examination, according to a report by N18.
