Bihar Polls: NDA Alliance Demonstrates Unity Under Modi and Nitish Leadership Amid Opposition Conflicts

BJP's Sudhanshu Trivedi asserts that the NDA is united under Modi and Nitish Kumar for the Bihar elections, while the opposition faces internal strife and lacks direction.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi expressed confidence in the NDA's unity and leadership clarity for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. He contrasted this with the opposition bloc's internal conflicts and lack of direction. Trivedi spoke at a press conference at the BJP state headquarters, highlighting the public's favourable mood towards the NDA, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Trivedi pointed out that recent opinion polls show a significant lead for the NDA. He believes that when these numbers convert into votes, they will result in a decisive mandate. The BJP national spokesperson criticised the opposition's INDIA bloc in Bihar, describing it as a coalition fraught with contradictions, including family disputes and leadership confusion.

NDA's Vision for Bihar's Development

He emphasised that those claiming to be chief ministerial candidates lack leadership capacity. Similarly, those aspiring to be prime ministerial candidates cannot agree on a leader within their alliance. Trivedi stressed the importance of a stable government for India's 2047 goal of becoming a developed nation, particularly focusing on eastern India's economic development, including Bihar.

The assembly elections in Bihar are scheduled to occur in two phases. Voting will take place on November 6 and 11, with vote counting set for November 14. Trivedi asserted that the NDA is capable of providing the stable and visionary government needed for Bihar's progress.

Trivedi remarked, "Those who call themselves chief ministerial candidates lack the capacity to lead, and those who claim to be prime ministerial hopefuls cannot even agree on a leader within their own alliance." This statement underscores his criticism of the opposition's leadership struggles.

Trivedi concluded by stating that achieving India's 2047 development goal requires a stable government in Bihar. He believes that only the NDA can provide such governance, ensuring economic growth in eastern India. This vision aligns with their broader national objectives under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
