Bihar Political Crisis: As Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar decides to switch political ends once again, Lalu Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has called a party meeting in Patna on Saturday. According to the reports, Lalu Yadav, and Deputy CM Tejaswi Yadav will decide with their MLAs whether to form some other alliance or wait and watch Nitish's decision.

However, RJD spokespersons are trying to cover up saying that the the meeting has been called to discuss an action plan for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024.

Meanwhile, reports suggested that Lalu Yadav was trying to speak with Nitish Kumar over phone, but Nitish did not respond.

Taking cognizance of the political turmoil, the BJP has also been active, and a series of meetings have been held with the JDU Bihar chief in Delhi since Friday. Earlier, when Nitish Kumar had parted ways with BJP to form an alliance with RJD, at that time, Amit Shah had made it clear that "doors are now closed for Nitish Kumar". According to the reports, the Bihar government has decided to move 22 IAS, 79 IPS, 45 Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) officers, 5 district magistrates (DMs) and 17 SPs.
