Bihar: One killed by Nitish's convoy in Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur, Dec 9: A man, Shambhu Yadav, was mowed down by

Chief Minister

's convoy in Muzaffarpur. Sources say that the car was escorting the Chief Minister on his way back from Motihari. Eye-witnesses claim that the car didn't even stop after running over the man.

The man was taken to Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital where he was declared brought dead. The Chief Minister was returning to Patna by road after addressing a rally by JD(U) called the 'Sankalp Rally' at the East Champaran district.

Local villagers are said to have blocked the road in protest.
